Everybody knows that every application you use leaves traces on your computer, but not everyone is aware of how to erase these traces. ClearProg is a tool to help you do just that.
With ClearProg you can get rid of all the temporary files, cookies, auto-complete entries, lists of recent documents and other similar items that can let others know what you have been doing on your computer, as well as taking up valuable hard drive space.
ClearProg is very easy to use. You just select the items you want to delete and click the 'clear' button. If you can't find the program you are looking for, check the Extras > Plug-ins menu, where there is a huge range of extra applications. There is also a preview button so you can double check your selection before choosing to clear it all.
Some of ClearProg's more interesting extra features are the option to add your own folders to clear, send files to the recycle bin (rather than totally erasing them from your computer) and create an .INI file with your settings. On the downside, there are no secure deletion options and the program cannot be scheduled to automatically wipe files - you need to do it manually.
ClearProg deletes all traces left by applications you use, saving hard drive space and protecting your privacy.
